Role: Co-Founder, Head Therapist

Why Delos Therapy?: Eric co-founded Delos Therapy after having a career as a professional athlete. In graduate school, he centered his research on pain and inflammatory conditions and earned a master’s degree in biomedical science. He continued his scientific training in medical school where he focused on musculoskeletal dysfunction. During his final year of medical school, Eric decided to forego his residency training and pursue his passion for Delos Therapy. By combining his background as a professional athlete and his medical studies, Eric is looking to change the way the industry approaches the understanding and treatment of chronic pain.


Fun Fact: Eric raced motorcycles at age 5 and ran a full marathon at age 9.

Name: Mimi Bosika       
Hometown: Uzdin, Serbia
Role: Co-Founder, Business Development

 

Why Delos Therapy?: Mimi is a long-time friend and business partner of Eric Owens. She graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and has a background in management, operations and business development.

 

Fun Fact: Mimi won two US Open table tennis titles as a junior and won a tour of Europe in an essay contest in high school.

Why Delos Therapy?: Kate is a dancer-turned-therapist with over 10 years in both dance performance and Delos Therapy. Having experienced the challenges of chronic pain firsthand, she brings both personal insight and professional expertise to her work. Over the years, Kate has served as a therapist, trainer, managed clinic operations, and now oversees broader operational strategy—always with a focus on helping patients exceed their goals and ensuring a top-tier care experience.

 

Fun Fact: Kate enjoys being outside and is always in search of new hiking trails.

 

Name: Darek Swiac                
Hometown: Czestochowa, Poland
Role: Delos Therapist

 

Why Delos Therapy?: Darek's goal as a Delos therapist is to help people find pain relief quickly and effectively. He joined the Delos team because he believes that performing Delos Therapy on a client brings balance back to the body and mind. Frustration due to pain affects people's lives in many ways, and Darek is committed to making significant improvements in their well-being.

 

Fun Fact: Darek lived in France for a year, speaking only English while he was there. He discovered his love for “stinky” French brie.

Why Delos Therapy?: Nick comes to Delos with a lengthy bodywork history and is excited to bring his knowledge and experience to the team. He was drawn to Delos by the company's innovative approach and growing success in the world of pain management. Nick believes that Delos is the missing piece in not only educating people about muscular health, but truly helping them achieve long-term pain relief. He couldn't pass up the opportunity to become a part of the Delos team and deliver results to clients.

 

Fun Fact: Nick once rode the Gemini at Cedar Point 20 times in a row, and he has met deceased WWE legend Jimmy "SuperFly" Snuka.

Name: Marc Pytlewicz

Role: Delos Therapist

 

Why Delos Therapy?: Marc became a therapist as a way to fulfill a lifelong interest in and natural ability of finding problem areas in muscles. When he turned his passion into a career, he first began to help athletes and coaches in the world of jiu jitsu. Being an athlete his whole life and an avid sports fan, Marc understands the mindset of athletes and knows the importance of muscular health when it comes to performance. After experiencing Delos Therapy himself and realizing how quickly it restructured muscles in his own problem areas, he was hooked and thrilled to be a part of the team.

 

Fun Fact: Marc is a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and he is a huge metal head with a soundproof room in his house where he plays the drums.

Name: Apryl King                            
Hometown: Chicago, IL

Role: Delos Therapist

 

Why Delos Therapy?: Apryl knows from experience that healing the body requires commitment, focused care, and manual soft tissue manipulation. Being a part of that therapeutic process is the reason she joined the industry. A desire to perform specialized, myofascial bodywork is why she is a member of the Delos Therapy team. 

 

Experiencing Delos Therapy made Apryl a true believer. After a few minutes of treatment, she had better flexibility, range of motion, and strength in areas she thought had been completely rehabilitated years ago. The work being done at Delos is crucial in restoring muscle function and connective tissue health while putting people on a path to a deeper kind of healing.

 

Apryl says she wakes up excited every morning because she is a part of a team of amazing therapists doing this incredible work that allows our clients to move more, do more, be more active and live with less pain. How awesome is that?

 

Fun fact: Apryl's birthday is not in the month of April, so she spells her name with a "y."

Name: Morgan Pointer                   
Hometown: Evanston, IL
Role: Delos Therapist

 

Why Delos Therapy?: Morgan believes maintaining health and wellness of the mind, body and spirit is important. What brought her to Delos is that the Delos approach, without a doubt, is one of the major keys to the maintenance of Body health and wellness.

 

Fun fact: Morgan won 1st place four years in a row with her high school track team!

Name: Nathan
Hometown: Chicago Ridge, IL
Role: Activation and Recovery Specialist

 

Nathan played collegiate football for 6 years. Throughout his time there, he endured several injuries that affected his life significantly. Reflecting on those times, he thought it was best for him to help others with every day pain and injury recovery and prevention.

 

Fun Fact: Nathan once had hair down to his mid-back. He impulsively cut it all off.

Name: Ashaand Simone                       
Hometown: Seattle, WA
Role: Activation and Recovery Specialist

 

Ashaand has been a dancer for their entire life, and believes wellness is from the outside in and inside out. Their experience as an athlete taught them how debilitating injuries and pain can be, and in a short period of time their experience with Delos Stretch completely transformed areas of their body that they did not even know were problems. Ashaand is excited to be a part of a team committed to helping people use their bodies to their fullest potential. 

 

Fun Fact: In addition to their work as a professional dancer, Ashaand is also a contortionist and student of trapeze.
